William Fish b 1804 New Windsor son of Robert & Sarah Fish
William Fish is our PROGENITOR, the first FISH in our family to come to South Africa.
William got married in 1836, he must have come out earlier than this date, he was not part of the original 1820 settlers. We have not yet identified the date and ship he came out on. The earliest S African records of the Fish Family is in this church (Holy Trinity Kalk Bay), William died 1875 and must have been one of the earliest burials in this Church, the records confirm this.
